In , the first specialized medical building for children was built in Jordan, Queen Rania Children's Hospital, established to improve the medical service for Jordanian children.

The hospital provides for the care of children, especially complex medical cases including organ transplants and endoscopic operations. Rania has also been particularly vocal about the importance of cross-cultural and interfaith dialogue to foster greater understanding, tolerance and acceptance across the world. Rania has played a significant role in reaching out to the global community to foster values of tolerance and acceptance, and increase cross-cultural dialogue.

Locally, she is committed to breathing new life into the public education system, empowering women and their communities, improving child and family protection services, and driving innovation, technology, and entrepreneurship through society, especially amongst young people.

Internationally, Queen Rania is an advocate for tolerance, compassion, and promoting empathy between people of all cultures and backgrounds. Her efforts to challenge stereotypes of Arabs and Muslims and promote greater understanding and acceptance between people of all faiths and cultures have won her global recognition. This organization focuses on mobilizing efforts to enhance cooperation between hospitals in order to better facilitate organ donations and transplants.

Queen Rania also heads the Jordan Blood Disease Society which conducts awareness campaigns on the dangers of blood diseases, their causes, and the necessary precautions needed to avoid them. In addition to her permanent affiliation with the aforementioned organizations, Queen Rania sponsors numerous events that promote economic growth as well as the educational, artistic, and cultural diversity in the Kingdom.
